Black History Month
Below is a link to a document I am asking students to complete if they want to participate in Black History Month contest. (Your child might also bring home a hard copy of the document).
I am asking parents to help if needed - especially for the younger grades. Here are some guidelines:
1. Any student can participate- one entry per student.
2. Entries can be turned in anytime from now until Tuesday, February 28. No late entries.
3. I will pick an entry at random (sort of like a raffle) check that all of the answers are correct, and will declare that entry/student the winner. If all of the answers are not correct, I will pick another entry and check it. The first two entries picked with all correct answers will win the prize.
4. The prizes are TBA.
5. There will only be two winners.
When you help your children with the form, I ask that use our district's link to Worldbook Online. This is a terrific resource the district provides for our students. Thank you so much! Please take the time to read all about the different people our contest highlights. Thank you!
